House with the simplest of forms

On the edge of Leiria, Portugal architect Manuel Aires Mateuscomplete the the project in 2010 that really stand alone . What at first looks like a silhouette of a typical house showing it soon became something else entirely. Privacy is the order of the day here as can be seen with the lack of windows and other openings. It’s striking white facade contrasts with forms that seem traditional. This house has been designed around a central courtyard three floors, which provide light and views to the household.
